Argentina LNG is a large-scale natural gas liquefaction (LNG)
project designed to massively develop Vaca Muerta’s resources
to deliver energy to the world. Positioned strategically to serve
consumer markets, it promises to be a reliable and competitive
supply source, benefiting from the region’s advantageous weather
conditions that support the development of the operation.
Developing a competitive and efficient large-scale project, aiming to secure a position among the most influential players in the global market.
With 308 TCF, Vaca Muerta is the second shale-gas formation with the largest resources in the world.
The project will deploy two floating liquefaction units, to be located in Punta Colorada, in the Province of Río Negro.
We focus on producing safe, reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy for the world.
Argentina LNG will feature two floating liquefaction (FLNG) units, with a combined capacity of up to 12 million tons per year. In addition, further projects are underway to scale Argentina’s total LNG export capacity to approximately 30 million tons per year, positioning the country among the world’s leading exporters.
