Argentina LNG is a large-scale natural gas liquefaction (LNG)
project designed to massively develop Vaca Muerta’s resources
to deliver energy to the world.
Positioned strategically to serve
consumer markets, it promises to be a reliable and competitive
supply source, benefiting from the region’s advantageous weather
conditions that support the development of the operation.
Developing a competitive and efficient large-scale project, aiming to secure a position among the most influential players in the global market.
With 308 TCF, Vaca Muerta is the second shale-gas formation with the largest resources in the world.
The project will begin with two floating liquefaction units and later expand through the construction of an onshore modular plant in two phases, located in the town of Sierra Grande, Rio Negro Province.
We focus on producing safe, reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy for the world.
First Phase:
Two floating liquefier units located near the shore, each with a capacity of 5 Mtpa.
Second Phase:
Construction of a 10 Mtpa onshore modular liquefaction plant.
Third Phase:
Expansion of the onshore plant with new liquefaction trains for an additional 10 Mtpa
